Sasha became transgender in the early years of her high school career. Sasha's family supported him through the difficult times, and she knew that he was capable of anything when it came to music. Jim and Sasha are both song writers, and are now an official duo and have been playing in open mics as well as other local venues. The Voice coaches never discussed Sasha's background, but Jim and Sasha told their stories in a video clip presented prior to their show. Sasha started playing guitar when she was just six years old. The pair talked about their musical tastes and shared stories about how they first met. His father is a musician teacher, which made learning the art form easier for him. Sasha was a troubled kid with the gender of his identity. In an Instagram post from last week, Sasha opened up about his struggles. Jim, meanwhile, was stricken with emotion when he explained his inability to stay present through these difficult times. Sasha Allen was born as a female. Sasha Allen is 19 in 2021. At the time Sasha was a freshman in high school, he came out to be transgender, and then began the transition into male. Sasha posted on Instagram, "I am the third transgender person ever to appear on this show and I'm excited to have the opportunity to represent transgender individuals in such an extensive way."
